ATM receives great appreciation in the the end-of-the-year ratings

It is the fourth time when Puls Biznesu was presenting its rating of public companies. Traditionally, accolades were given to companies from the following categories: company, blue chip, industry, and blunder of the year. In the opinion of PB journalists, the company of 2006 was ATM S.A.

Puls Biznesu team decided that in the midst of cheap emissions with pre-emptive rights, fashionable changes of the business profile, and the atmosphere of the propaganda of bright perspectives and speculative promises, a special attention should be given to a company which had not misled its stakeholders. On the emotionally unstable market, the shares of ATM are a calm oasis for those who still believe the stock exchange is not a casino, and the journalists of Puls Biznesu were eager to emphasize that. At the same time, ATM is consequently keeping its direction. The effect is the systematic increase of the company's value.

Journalists Sebastian Gawłowski and Maciej Zbiejcik believe that the advantages of ATM are a credible strategy of development and the technology. ATM is systematically expanding its high-bandwidth Internet network. The organic growth is no longer satisfying the company's potential, so the time for acquisitions is close. As the PB journalists remind, the company will spend approx. PLN 350 million for the expansion of its ICT group.

As in the previous years, Puls Biznesu asked 25 stock exchange analysts to indicate the companies that are worth investing in 2007. As much as 42 companies were mentioned in the most prestigious category of "long-term purchase", which proves that despite the long prosperity period, there are still some companies with the growth potential on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. A high position in the second group, among the six most promising companies, was assigned to ATM.
