ATM S.A. successes in the telecommunication operator market
ATM S.A. records a successful streak in the sales for telecommunication operators. This is the most important market for the company.
According to the preliminary data, ATM’s revenue from the sales to this market segment in the 4th quarter of 2006 amounted to 45% of the total revenue. The year before, this figure was only 37%.
The company provides ICT services on the basis of its expertise in telecommunications, software and system integration. It specializes, among others, in services such as telecommunication infrastructure outsourcing, operator- and ISP-grade Internet access, and data transmission. The company is also a supplier of network infrastructure and proprietary proprietary service management systems for the operators.
In the fourth quarter of the previous year, the significant part of the revenue from the telecommunication sector were the telecommunication services sold to other operators. The main customers included GTS Energis, UPC Polska, Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa, Polkomtel and Crowley Data Poland. The biggest contract amounted to approx. PLN 5.5 million.
These performances prove that ATM knows how to collaborate with other operators. ATM is a telecommunication operator itself, but at the same time maintains a market position, which is best described by the English word coopetition — combining cooperation and competition into one. The investors value the strategy developed by the company’s management: at the end of the year, the price of shares exceeded PLN 170 and remains on a high level.
