Atmosfera with Pink Elephant!

Canada-based Pink Elephant company has completed the final stage of audit of Atmosfera Service Desk v. 5.0 software, developed by ATM S.A. Due to this, Atmosfera joined the prestigious group of the solutions awarded with the PinkVerify™ Service Support certificate.

Due to the steadily growing significance of ITIL library, it is necessary to provide a single method allowing for recognition of tools to properly satisfy the IT managers’ needs. As it is emphasized by the Polish ITLife website, PinkVerify™ is the only important certificate of compliance of the ITSM tool with ITIL methodology. We have joined the elite club. The certificate has been so far awarded mostly to the tools of American suppliers, such as CA, BMC Software (owner of the Remedy brand), Oracle, HP, Siebel, PeopleSoft, FrontRange. No other company in Poland — or even in our part of Europe — has acquired this certificate before. Once again, ATM fulfills its pioneering role.

“At the moment, we can seriously consider selling Atmosfera also outside of Poland, because its compliance with the world industry standards is undisputable, and our price will surely also appear competitive,” explained Mr. Michał Chodakowski, director of the Business System Department in ATM S.A.“Since the very beginning of the development of the solution, we were thinking about expanding to the outside world. Atmosfera is developed in multiple language versions.”

The PinkVerify mark offers several significant benefits to the company. The worldwide class of the product was confirmed by an established market institution. We will be mentioned in all prestiguous statements across the world. Therefore, the company may participate in all those tender proceedings where only the certified tools may apply.

The system certification process itself was difficult for two reasons. The auditors were very meticulous, principal and uncompromising. Each of the several hundred certification criteria were verified in detail at least three times: by the written survey, teleconference and during live tests. Furthermore, it was assumed since the very beginning that the final effect of the work would not only be a box with an added PinkVerify stamp, but rather a deployment-ready product to utilize our previous experience, the results of the completed project analyses, and customer references.

The certificate is especially important for the customers consciously willing to implement the solutions compliant with best practices. On one hand, it assures the compliance with global standards, on the other hand — due to the extensive customization options — it allows to take into account the specific nature of the process workflow within the given organization. The solution is also an attractive offering for medium enterprises that require a standard tool with proven functionality.

Last year alone, Atmosfera brought a few million PLN of revenue. Since the system’s market debut, it was already implemented by multiple demanding customers, such as PTC (Era, Heyah), PLL Lot, Agora, Getronics, two other leading telecommunication operators and a large media company.

ATM is hoping that the Pink Elephant will bring luck to system developers and will allow for a significant growth of Atmosfera Service Desk sales in 2007.
