ATM S.A. delivers a service management and charging system
24.01.2007

ATM is deploying SMaCS (Service Management and Charging System) which will be used for Internet services by one of the largest Polish Internet service providers.

In the first stage, ATM has delivered and installed Cisco BRAS devices which aggregate traffic from DSL users.

The SMaCS system developed by ATM enables telecommunications operators to deploy and manage advanced Internet services, regardless of the used access links (xDSL, WiMAX, CATV, etc.). It is a middleware application which ensures communication between the operator’s network infrastructure and business systems (e.g. billing). It uses the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) technology which enables flexible modeling of business processes and fast integration with other systems of the operator.

The agreement value is ca. PLN 1.5 million.
