ATM S.A. to build WAN for the SFRDP in the MPLS technology
The tender announced by the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons settled for the benefit of the ATM and CDP consortium
As a result of the tender won by ATM S.A. in consortium with Crowley Data Poland, ATM was awarded an order for delivery and maintenance of a wide data transmission network (WAN) and its Internet connection between the SFRDP headquarters at 13 Jana Pawła II avenue in Warsaw and the 16 SFRDP branches nationwide.
As part of the contract, the ATM S.A. consortium shall provide lines for the central location and 3 field branches, as well as configuration of the customer routers.
The network will be developed based on VPN MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) technology, which enables to customize the method of packet handling by transmission equipment to the type of transmission carried out by those packets, i.e. the so called "traffic engineering".
The contract worth almost PLN 1 million was concluded for three years.
