ATMAN provides Internet to Capgemini in the Altus building in Katowice
29.05.2008

ATM S.A., provider of telecommunications services under the ATMAN brand, has entered an agreement to provide Internet access to Capgemini, one of the world's largest consultancy companies, at their site of Katowice.

Capgemini, who had already used ATM’s integration services, has appreciated the offer of ATM in the area of telecommunications with the prospect of a long-term cooperation. Internet lines purchased from ATM to connect Capgemini’s site in the Altus building in Katowice will be used to support Capgemini’s core business, i.e. the delivery of integrated consultancy, IT and outsourcing services.

It is worth noting that the Altus building in Katowice hosts an AC-X node of the ATMAN network and a new server room delivered by ATM last April in order to co-locate telecommunications devices and servers for ATM S.A. customers.

The first part of the server room can eventually host up to 26 racks. It meets the highest security and functionality standards while providing full access to the essential telecommunication infrastructure of the AC-X node in the Altus building. As the server room is located in the center of Katowice, it offers a great comfort to customers who may access it in a quick and easy way. The direct connection to the AC-X Altus node enables full communication with a large numbers of carriers who operate there.
