Inotel connected to the AC-X interconnection node

ATM S.A., provider of telecommunications services under the ATMAN brand, has signed an agreement with Inotel S.A. on the access to the AC-X interconnection node in Poznań and on the transit of traffic between the networks of both carriers.

Inotel S.A. Telefonia Innowacyjna has been operating on the market since 2004. The company delivers state-of-the-art telecommunications services and Internet access services both for consumers and business customers. Inotel is also among the largest and most highly valued VoIP providers and is the first company in Poland to implement HDTV over IP.

“The agreement with ATM and the connection to AC-X will make our fiber optic network even more efficient,” Jakub Dwernicki, CEO of Inotel S.A, states. “For our subscribers, this means a faster and more stable access to Polish Web resources,” he adds.

AC-X is the largest distributed interconnection node in Poland, dedicated to the exchange of IP traffic between ISPs and Internet content providers. Available in over a dozen Polish cities, AC-X creates a state-of-the-art inter-city network with unlimited bandwidth. Since its launch in July 2006, 106 customers have joined it.
