ATM S.A. and ATM SI build an IP network for CenterNet

ATM S.A., a company quoted on the stock exchange, signed a contract with CenterNet S.A. for building an IP backbone network based on products from Cisco Systems. The contract has been implemented by ATM Systemy Informatyczne Sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of ATM S.A.

The IP network core uses links with a bitrate of 10 Gbps and redundant carrier-class Internet routers. The Internet node is fully protected with intrusion detection systems and firewall systems. Infrastructure and network-security management software has also been delivered. The customer also uses collocation space of the ATMAN Data Center.

“Together with CenterNet, we are looking for further cooperation opportunities to take advantage of our experience and knowledge,” said Marek Rżanek, Sales Director, ATM SI. “We hope that the cooperation will develop and in the near future we will be able to present new projects with this Customer.”

The cooperation with CenterNet is possible thanks to excellent references of ATM S.A. in the communications industry and high, well-appreciated competencies of the ATM SI engineering team. The value of completed works and deliveries has already exceeded PLN 3.5 million.

“We chose Cisco hardware because in our opinion their solutions are proven in their corresponding market segments and will ensure safe and efficient processing of information transmitted through our IP network. The technical support from ATM is a natural next step in our business relationships and implementation of our strategy of cooperation with partners, based on outsourcing whole business or technical areas,” said Tomasz Kulisa, Network and IT Director, CenterNet S.A.

ATM Systemy Informatyczne Sp. z o.o. (ATM SI) was established by moving the integration service business from the structure of ATM S.A., a company quoted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, to a separate, independent entity. The company offer includes end-to-end ICT services, such as designing, building, and maintaining ICT infrastructure, IT security systems, continuous-availability systems, and outsourcing services. The services comply with the ISO and ITIL standards. ATM SI also develops applications supporting business continuity and managing services and customer care processes. The company cooperates with many leading international ICT suppliers, such as Cisco, Dell, EMC, HP, IBM, Microsoft, and Oracle.
