Successful first half-year for telecommunications business of ATM S.A.

ATM S.A., the owner and operator of nationawide ATMAN network, considers the first half-year of 2009 very satysfying. The company has gained new contracts and extended the existing significant subscription contracts with key customers for further years.

Information technology company ATM S.A. is one of the leading providers of broadband data transmission offering Internet access, collocation, hosting and many other advanced telecommunications services. Company's resources include optic fibre backbone network, seven Metropolitan Area Networks joining the main business centres and telecommunications nodes and own data centre in Warsaw. The customers of ATMAN network possessed by ATM include telecommunications operators, financial institutions, media, Internet portals as well as trade and industrial enterprises.

"We have systematically strengthened our position in the area of telecommunications services that assures the company's repetitive and stable source of revenue for the following years", said Maciej Krzyżanowski, Vice-President of ATM S.A. Management Board. "Only during the second quarter of 2009 compared to the first quarter of the year we have noted 800,000 PLN value increase of the contracts based on subscription", added Maciej Krzyżanowski.

In the second quarter of 2009 ATM S.A. finished works over expanding the surface of ATMAN-Grochowska at 25% to net 1500 square metres. Already owned and still expanding telecommunications infrastructure of ATM S.A. meets growing interest of its customers, despite momentary weakened macroeconomic situation.

For the last several months among the customers for telecommunications services who are either new or who extended the contracts for further years are: AIG Bank Polska, Murator Publishing House, Polsat Media, Energa Koszalin, LG Electronics, Damian's Medical Centre, the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities as well as the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
