Programmers from the University of Warsaw, supported by ATM S.A., win the European Championship

The team from the University of Warsaw, supported by ATM S.A., won the Central European Programming Contest (CEPC). The team solved 6 out of 11 very complex programming tasks.

This year’s edition of the Contest was held on November 7-8 in Wrocław. There were over 70 participating teams originating from universities from all across Central Europe, including five teams from the University of Warsaw. The winners will represent their university during the World Finals – ACM ICPC 2010 – held in China in February 2010.

For several years, ATM S.A. has been actively supporting the most gifted programmers from the University of Warsaw, who are ranked at top positions in this prestigious competition each year. The three-person team that participates in the World Finals is also granted by the Chancellor of the University of Warsaw yearly scholarships sponsored by ATM S.A.
