ATM S.A. wins more tenders and customers from the public sector

ATM S.A., the owner and operator of the nation-wide ATMAN network, recently won a number of new contracts with public-sector institutions, such as the Ministry of National Defense, Agricultural Property Agency, Polish Chamber of Physicians and Dentists, Agricultural Market Agency, TVP (state-owned television) and Frontex (European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union).

ATM S.A. is one of the leading providers of broadband data transfer services, offering Internet-access, colocation, hosting and other advanced telecommunications services. The services provided by ATM S.A. are based on the company’s own, well developed telecommunications infrastructure which includes a nation-wide backbone optical network and optical metro networks connecting major business centers and telecommunications nodes in seven cities. Also, ATM S.A. has its own data centers with a gross total space of over 5,800 sq m. The company’s customers include mostly telecommunications operators, Internet providers, portals and traditional media companies. The company’s revenues from financial organizations, and commercial and industrial companies are also increasing. Since recently, the company has also good sales to the public sector, as evidenced by newly signed contracts.

“We are very glad of the new contracts in the public sector, because they confirm that our offer is becoming increasingly attractive also to those customers,” said Maciej Krzyżanowski, Vice-President for operations, ATM S.A. “The first revenues from the new contracts will be visible in the bottom line of Q4, but what’s important, in most cases the contracts have been concluded for the period of two years, which will increase the assured revenue levels also for 2010 and 2011,” added Krzyżanowski.

ATM S.A.’s revenues from telecommunications services after the three quarters of 2009 are PLN 67.4 M, and the operating profit exceeds PLN 11 M. The revenues increased by 30%, and the operating profit increased by more than 85% year-to-year.
