|Top-up for Orange prepaid mobile phones now in mPay|
From April 2011, all users of Orange prepaid mobile phones can top up their credit by means of mPay.
Orange is a yet another mobile network cooperating with mPay in the mobile top-up sector. mPay users are now able to top up their credit wherever their mobile network is working, without having to go to a retail store or to access the Internet. It is really simple – to pay for the mobile with the credits in the mPay system, users dial:
*145*48 and enter their phone number (11 digits in total)*top-up amount in PLN#.
After the transaction is confirmed, a confirmation message is sent and the prepaid account balance is updated.
“The introduction of the top-up option in Orange is a part of mPay’s strategy aimed at developing the market of mobile payments in close cooperation with mobile network operators. Direct topping up from you mobile without having to go to any point of sale provides users with the safety and freedom to select the top-up time and place,” explains Cezary Mroczkowski, Director of Marketing Strategy and Products at mPay SA.
The agreement for Orange top-up option provided to mPay users comes as a continuation of the agreement between mPay S.A. and PTK Centertel Sp. z o.o. for mobile payments using the *145# code.
