Successful end of the year for ATMs telecommunications activity; new contracts for over PLN 13.5 million
29.12.2011

ATM S.A., a company which provides telecommunications services to companies and institutions under the ATMAN brand, in the last months of the year concluded agreements concerning data transmission and provision of colocation services in its data centers for the total amount of over PLN 13.5 million.

Under the signed long-term contracts, ATM S.A. will provide the clients with facilities such as dedicated server rooms with the total area of nearly 450 square kilometres. It is worth emphasising that one of these agreements was concluded with a client with a global reach who will use the data centers infrastructure provided by ATM to render services to clients throughout Europe.

“The last quarter of the year was very successful. ATM succeeded in selling over 30% of colocation area in the F3 building which was finished just one month before and constitutes a part of the ATMAN Data Center. We are particularly happy about international clients choosing Poland and our data centers for the purposes of provision of cross-regional services,” said the Vice-President of the Management Board of ATM S.A., Maciej Krzyżanowski.

Besides the newly concluded agreements, ATM S.A. has been successfully continuing the cooperation with its existing clients in the scope of providing telecommunications services. It is worth reminding that after three quarters of the year the Company recorded in this segment, cumulatively, sales revenues of PLN 102.6 million, operating profit of PLN 12.8 million and EBITDA of PLN 27.3 million.

“Our telecommunications activity ensures repeatable revenues and profits for the company which are particularly desirable when the macroeconomic environment is weak. The agreements signed in recent weeks will significantly increase our existing earning base in future periods, which allows us to assume that also 2012 will be a successful year,” said the President of the Management Board of ATM S.A., Roman Szwed.

ATM S.A. is a Polish public company (WSE: ATM) providing innovative ICT solutions for business since 1991.
