At the stand dedicated to Polish representatives, five of these data centers, from five different regions of the country. Together they will prepare a presentation entitled Why Poland?. The CeBIT fair will take place on 610 March in Hanover.

The Ministry of Economy invited representatives of the Polish ICT industry to take part in the event and use modern infrastructure at the stand, along with the VIP room and conference space with total area of 750 sq m. Polish data centers used this opportunity encouraged to participate in the joint project by ATM:

Taking advantage of ATMs participation in CeBIT 2012 fair as part of the stand of the Ministry of Economy, we proposed a joint presentation to other Polish companies which offer just like us colocation services in their data centers. The purpose of our initiative is to show the potential of the Polish market against Europe and the leading position of Polish suppliers of data center services in the CEE region. We hope that excellent cooperation with our partners in this undertaking will encourage foreign customers to use data center services in our country, concluded Maciej Klepacki, Director for Marketing and Investor Relations at ATM S.A.

The data centers presented are related with different regions of the country: Silesia is represented by 3Services Factory (3SF), Lesser Poland by Polcom, Greater Poland by Beyond.pl, ZPAS represents Lower Silesia, while ATM Mazovia. Together, these companies are preparing a display entitled Why Poland? in order to present the most modern data centers in the country and encourage use of their services and investment in their development. The presentation will draw upon the conclusions of the report carried out by Audytel on the market for data center services in Poland. Why Poland? highlights the advantages of the Polish market:

Poland, in particular the Silesia region, is an excellent alternative for Europe. We have low costs, especially of electricity or telecommunications, and high-quality IT staff. The fact that the data center market in Poland is relatively new and developing dynamically allows us to successfully apply the latest technologies. Since our data center is located in the EU, our legislation ensures safety for European customers, which nowadays is of key importance. Information technology removes borders. The best communication is all that matters from proximity of motorways and airports to access to the optical fibre network. The ease of communication is what distinguishes 3SF, said Mariusz Juranek, the Commercial Director of 3SF.

Offering colocation and other ICT services in the foreign market is the natural path for development. The fair in Hanover supports similar plans, which is also what the President of the Management Board of Polcom S.A., Marcin Gwóźdź, hopes for:

The development of our company created a natural need for our own data center facility, where the company could render advanced data processing services for different sectors of the economy. The new approach to creation of information processing systems and accessibility of communication channels allow us to offer our customers powerful infrastructure and advanced applications in the Software as a Service model at very attractive prices. We want to interest new customers from outside Poland in our services and this is why we decided to take part in this years CeBIT fair. This event is more than an opportunity to gain knowledge about market innovations it is also an occasion to establish contacts and obtain future customers and business partners.
