04.10.2012

ATM S.A., the operator of ATMAN nation-wide fiber network and provider of telecommunications services for business, has recently expanded cooperation with private healthcare service providers, signing new contracts with such institutions as Medicover and Medrun Medical Center.

Colocation, data transmission and Internet access services, provided by ATM S.A. under the brands of ATMAN and Thinx Poland, have now been used by all major private healthcare service providers in Poland. ATM S.A. customers include Medicover, Damian Medical Center, ENEL-MED Medical Center, LUX MED as well as Medrun and TMS Diagnostyka.

Those private healthcare institutions that have an extensive network of medical facilities may connect all of them into a network, using the ATMAN WAN data transmission services, to efficiently manage their telecommunications resources and optimise running costs. Single access connection may be used for data transmission, telecommunications services as well as safe, encrypted connections between branch offices.

In three data centers in Poland, owned by ATM S.A., with a total surface area of more than 8,300 square meters, medical organizations colocate their ICT resources in a secure technical environment with access to networks of multiple telecommunications operators and guaranteed availability of space and electricity.

Most of the contracts signed in the healthcare services sector are long-term.
