|ATM S.A. signs another important, long-term contract|
A company operating in the financial sector has chosen the data center services provided by ATM S.A. A contract has been signed for the use of 25% of the space available in the newly built colocation facility.
Warsaw, 26 March 2014 ATM S.A., owner and operator of the nationwide ATMAN fiber-optic network and provider of data center services in Poland (under the ATMAN and Thinx Poland brands), reports the conclusion of a major contract for the provision of colocation services. The new customer at ATMAN Data Center is another in a series of firms from the financial sector. The contract is a long-term one.
The establishment of cooperation with a new customer enjoying a strong position within its sector confirms the observed growth in interest in colocation services in Poland. More and more firms are deciding to move their resources to a data center, and because of the nature of the services, the contracts signed are usually long-term ones. Customers for colocation services are aware of the need to optimize the costs of maintaining their IT infrastructure. As well as reducing their expenditure, they also obtain a greater guarantee of stable, uninterrupted operation of their hardware at a data center. For this reason they appreciate the standard of service that we offer, as well as our reliability and flexibility in dealings with customers. At present as much as 97% of our revenue from colocation services consists of regular income from long-term contracts, explained Maciej Krzyżanowski, CEO of ATM S.A.
ATM S.A.s new customer will make use of the server and network infrastructure of the F4 server room, which is due to come on line shortly, increasing the total amount of net space provided by ATMAN Data Center by 1,000 sq m.
The contract has been signed for one quarter of the total colocation space available in that building. We are also engaged in intense negotiations with other potential customers interested in colocation services at that facility. We expect its full commercialization to take place at an especially fast rate, added Maciej Krzyżanowski.
ATM S.A.s development plans also include the building of another server room as part of ATMAN Data Center. The project is expected to be completed in mid 2015, and will enable the company to reinforce its position as leader in the Polish data center market.
