|CloudFlare Inc. joins Thinx Internet exchange|
CloudFlare Inc., owner of one of the worlds largest multimedia content delivery networks (CDNs) and a network of DNS servers, has signed an agreement with ATM S.A. relating to traffic exchange at ATMs Thinx Internet exchange point.
The main hub of Thinx IX is located at the carrier-neutral Thinx Poland Data Center in Warsaw. IP traffic exchange services at the Thinx IX are addressed primarily to operators, Internet access providers and portals, enabling direct traffic exchange with other networks and with Internet content providers. CloudFlare is the latest major content provider to choose to use the services of the Thinx Internet exchange point.
The efficient delivery of content via CloudFlares CDN is ensured by, among other things, the location of the networks access hubs at 63 data centers all over the world. This enables reduction of delays, which for Internet users means faster access to resources from any place and any device. Its connection to the Thinx exchange point in Warsaw will provide CloudFlare with additional bandwidth and access to local operators.
